Case Study | Contracts of employment
We were instructed by the owner manager of a growing regional recruitment agency.
The client was concerned to protect his confidential information and the business client connections. In particular he wanted to put in place appropriate restrictive covenants preventing any of his recruitment consultants, upon leaving his employment, from trying to solicit or poach his clients.
Having got to know the business and reflecting the client's concerns, a bespoke contract of employment was prepared dealing with the client's concerns. Although the contract protected the client's interests it was drafted in a fair and balanced way so the employees did not object to signing them.
We also provided advice on how to introduce the contracts not only to new employees but also to the existing employees so that every employee was on the same terms and conditions of employment.
