We give advice and guidance about any employment law issue or problem. You can see on this web site the main employment law topics and practice areas we specialise in. Our work for employee clients concentrates on dealing with cases that are difficult, complicated or high value.

Advising you about the relevant employment law is only one part of how we can help you. Invariably the most important part of our work is our guidance and help on how best to tackle your problem or issue. It’s our skills and experience that can really make the difference so that you get your desired resolution more quickly.

We listen

Our employment law solicitors are good listeners – before we have our say we usually want to know what you have to say first!

Your best strategy

Working out your best strategy or approach to follow is a key part of what we do.

Clever drafting

We are very good at drafting persuasive letters and documents that say what’s required, using just the right words and tone for maximum impact.

Practised negotiators

Our employment lawyers are all practised negotiators who know what and when to say it for best effect.

We don’t flap

We keep calm regardless of the problem or provocation so that we avoid hasty decisions.

Attention to detail

The devil can be in the detail. We are proud of our attention to detail; being careful that nothing has been over looked invariably makes the difference.

Julie gave good advice about what steps to take at each stage of my tribunal claim

Employee client talking about how Julie Temple's tactical advice was highly valued

Julie and her team at Quantrills, even though the litigation was not always unstressful, made my case as easy as possible. When you are experiencing issues with your employer it is difficult to know what to do, if you are right or wrong, if you are over emotional or justified in your concerns. Quantrills gave me all the reassurance I needed to press on with my claim and to win.

My solicitor from Quantrills gave me good advice about what steps to take at each stage

Employee client commenting on our advice

I hope I never have a similar situation again, but if I did I would know that the professionals at Quantrills will listen to me, tell me if I have a case and then support me in getting a resolution.

I felt fully supported throughout my case, both by my solicitor and by Simon Quantrill himself, who kept a close eye on the progress of my claim, particularly as we neared the end of my case

Employee client confirming the high level of personal attention she received

My case proved to be quite a long and arduous journey at times involving meeting medical experts and a barrister. I felt that my solicitor was robust yet courteous in dealing with my employer and this finally led to a successful negotiated settlement in my favour without going to court.

Thank you both very much for your expert help, advice and kindness

Executive employee thanking Simon Quantrill and Tina Cotter after successfully defending sham gross misconduct allegations.

I am positive that without your intervention I would have lost my employment. Thanks once again.
