For the second time in as many years, the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform ('BERR'), formerly the DTI, has been rebranded as the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills ('BIS'). The rebranding is the result of a merger of BERR with what was the Department for Innovation, Universities & Skills and is intended to help business, Universities and further education establishments work to tackle the recession.

We can't help concluding that this rebranding is a waste of money. Bring back the dti, as this name was memorable and reflected the work of the department.
