Managing ... Grievances and Allegations of Discrimination Webinar

This webinar is Part Four in a series of six webinars during which we look at how people managers can and (in some instances) should manage certain situations at work.  In the series we follow Megan and her employment relationship with Hapless Employer Ltd from the very start to the very end and the people management issues that arise.   

In this fourth webinar we look at what happens when Megan raises a grievance and allegations that she has been discriminated against because of a disability, looking at:

  • How to investigate a serious grievance
  • Consulting with the employee about his or her grievance
  • The grievance decision
  • The appeal

The webinar also discusses the problem of the 'unreasonable employee' and how overlapping grievances, capability and disciplinary matters should be dealt with. There is some overlap in the content of this webinar and Managing Misconduct and Disciplinary Issues, but the emphasis will be very different.
